4 pieces Strain Relief for motor connectors.
Designed by Luke Atkin ( www.littlelincsworkshop.co.uk ) and produced by BASt.
This strain relief works on all NEMA23 motor standoff mounts. That is the RatRig Stronghold One and Pro, as well as the KillerBee, but is universally applicable.
This strain relief means the cable is no longer hanging from the connectors and the chance of it coming loose is minimal. In my opinion this is a crucial part of the machine.

You get 4 pieces; for a total of 4 engines.

Notice 3D Printed Accessories and Attachments

  • The use of any accessory or attachment other than recommended in the operating instructions of the original product for which such accessory or attachment was manufactured may result in risk of personal injury or damage to the machine and will void the warranty.
  • This accessory should only be used by persons who have experience with the original product and are familiar with the risks of using it.
  • BASt is not responsible for damage caused by any use of the original product for which this accessory or attachment was made other than as described in the original user manuals, technical specifications and other published guidelines for its use.
  • BASt is not affiliated with and has no relationship with companies for which accessories are designed. BASt therefore has no influence on adjustments, product versions or other changes in the products for which the accessories are intended. Therefore, no rights can be derived from this.
  • 3D printing uses so-called Fused Deposition Modeling, which means that the print is built up from thin layers that are melted together and thus form a whole. It is therefore normal that you still see some lines. It is also possible that a small thread is hanging somewhere or that you see a bump; this does not affect the quality of the product.
  • Because the tolerances for sizes are small, it can happen that your accessory fits tightly or does not fit. In almost all cases, this can be trimmed with sandpaper or a knife. In some cases, I have already done this myself, which is why you see a slightly different color there. In that case, there is no wear, manufacturing defect or second-choice product.
  • If you have any doubts, please contact me and I will be happy to help you.

Materials

A 3D print can be done with different materials. The most used materials are:

  • PLA-ST, a high strength and toughness plastic made with starch raw materials derived from renewable plant resources. This material has a very high impact resistance, but does not withstand temperatures above 50°.
  • ABS+, Suitable for temperatures up to 100° and impact resistant.
  • PETG, A material similar to the material PET bottles are made of, suitable for temperatures up to 85°.
Each material has its own specific properties, which can be advantageous or disadvantageous for a particular application.

3D printed items are printed in the material best suited for the intended application.
For example, ABS+ is chosen for grinding jigs. This has a high temperature resistance, but keep an eye on it (also for your gouge itself) that you do not let the metal you are grinding get too hot.

If you have any questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Colors

For my prints I try to keep a consistent color choice at all times. Unfortunately spools are not always in stock and I will have to choose from the available options.
The preferred color is always indicated in one of the product photos.

If you have a specific color preference, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Note: Colors are always approximate; screens and product lighting may produce different shades.
